Sen. Brian Schatz says telehealth is the 'one space' in health policy where Democrats, Republicans work together

The Indian government has advocated the use of digital tools to accelerate virtual care, including telehealth, and address the shortage of hospital beds, says professor Krishnan Ganapathy, director of Apollo Telehealth Services, India.

Digital health titans Teladoc Health and Livongo are merging under the Teladoc name, CMS proposes telehealth changes under Trump's executive order, and the Taskforce on Telehealth Policy holds a town hall to solicit public input.

The new services will be covered beyond the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the American Telemedicine Association said more needs to be done concerning remote patient monitoring.
